Chiedza Dziva Juru is a Chartered Accountant, CA(Z) and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Degree with Africa University. She is currently the Finance Manager at Higherlife Foundation, and was previously employed by Econet Wireless Zimbabwe. Chiedza is passionate about helping and serving others and she is involved in numerous community development initiatives. Under the Destiny Scholarship Trust, a trust which focuses on providing educational assistance to children in rural areas, Chiedza serves as the Founder and President of the Trust.
She serves the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) as a trustee of the ICAZ CASS Scholarship Trust, which aims to provide educational assistance to disadvantaged students aspiring to be Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe. Chiedza is also part of the Global Shapers Network, a community of young people who are focused on developing and empowering communities through implementing various projects.
Chiedza is equally passionate and active in women and girls’ development and is part of the WECAN (Women Chartered Accountants) committee, an arm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, which focuses on the development and mentorship of women chartered accountants. Chiedza remains an alumnus of the Higherlife Foundation Joshua Nkomo Scholarship Fund (JNSF) and is keen on being involved in the empowerment of young people in Zimbabwe, Lesotho- her mother’s country of origin and the rest of Africa.
